I had a question in email that I'm answering here about attaching an external CSS file to a Dreamweaver page.
In Dreamweaver CS6: At the bottom right of the CSS Styles Panel are some small icons. The first one looks like a chain link. If you hover over is, it says, "Attach Style Sheet." Click that icon. You'll get the "Attach External Style Sheet" dialog box. Browse to the file that you would like to attach. You'll probably want to leave the "Link" radio button selected. You most likely won't want to select anything next to "Media" if this is a general .css file. Click "OK."
In Dreamweaver CC: Open the CSS Designer Panel. Next to "Sources" at the top, click the "+" icon that adds a new .css file. Then, you can choose to create a new .css file, attach an existing css file, or to Define the New Styles in the head of the page. Assuming that you already have the css file that you want to attach, choose that option. You'll get the "Attach External Style Sheet" dialog box. Browse to the file that you would like to attach. You'll probably want to leave the "Link" radio button selected. You most likely won't want to select anything next to "Media" if this is a general .css file. Click "OK."
