For Unit 8, I went back a few lessons instead of updating or changing a page already submitted. This was in hope of getting some of the basic fundamentals more clearly understood. I made changes to the navigation bar (in the example it was a list but within the container and as part of the left column. Instead, I moved the container underneath the navigation so that the nav items are in the header. Below that are three columns followed by the footer. For the columns to end evenly, I used the method of adding padding (bottom) at the end of each column, then a negative amount of margin equal to bottom padding. Yeah! You have a flexible layout and I feel like you really understand the background colors behind the columns now. Super. You'll be laying out pages like a champ now.
