Nothing but problems this week. By far the most challenging. Then when I felt like I was done, I tried applying the template to the other blank pages, and it kept giving me an error widow (something about the regions not aligning or something.) So I had to just create new - from template- each of my pages. And in that time I somehow converted my external style sheet to an html file - I was able to recover my saved CSS file from the day before. So now I have a backup CSS in my file structure. I wasn't sure how to configure the "search box" and the button for it - is it a form, a link, or?? and should it go on every page? I left that area blank for now. Another problem I have is when I view in a browser from Dreamweaver, everything looks good, but when I view it from Palomar, my logo, tagline, and navigation links all move down. Huh?? Site Template

Wow. You did such a great job on this. Your repeat background is really seamless, too. Extremely nice work.
The search function is a form. It submits to a search script. There used to be free ones that you could find on the Web to use on your site. I'm not sure if they are still available, but it would be worth a Google Search. A lot of people use the search box on every page of their site. I think it does add functionality to do that, usually.
Logo and navigation moving down - are you viewing it in a different browser, perhaps? There may be different default margins on the two different browsers. Let me know if that might be the reason this is happening.

In all the browsers it looks correct and identical when launching the browser within Dreamweaver, but when viewed from the Palomar site (using Chrome), it pushes those items mentioned down about 20-25 px. I've never had this happen before. I tried re-uploading all the related files for the site, but it still shows the same thing. Any way of fixing this?

I figured out what was going on. I have a Norton tool bar in Chrome that sits at the top. It was pushing my entire "container" div down (not the "body" or "html"), the same amount as the height of the tool bar....weird. It doesn't do that to any other sites that I'm aware of. Anyway, I deleted the tool bar, and that fixed it. Thank you!

Interesting. Usually those tool bars don't interfere with the pages. I've never seen that. I'm glad that you figured it out, though.
