This is absolutely unreal! I was finishing a few additions to my pages and had copied a table from Excel to insert (it has multiple links to resources for this site). I had my home page open in Dreamweaver and had opened a new document (untitled.html). My index page was open and when I went to close it and save my work, the popup opened (as always) asking me do I want to replace the index.html that already exists? I clicked 'yes' as always and it saved it. THEN all of a sudden both the new untitled.html and my HOME PAGE (index) were identical - only it had saved the untitled.html as the NEW index.html page and replaced mine!
I am sitting here with my mouth hanging open at 1:45 am! OMG! I will get it done as soon as possible.

It's a shocker I know! I had something similar happen to me. Luckily, I was able to rescue it. I think I right-clicked on the file and it gave me the option to "recover" a previous version (the saved version the day before). It totally saved me from a nervous breakdown. Hope it all goes well.

Thanks, Brett! Well, I tried all available methods with no avail. But I got up today with a determined attitude. I ended up running into a few little glitches and things always seem to take me longer than I think they will. So with all said, I uploaded my site in its' current not quite complete state! (I guess I have to post it in a new thread,)

That's so sad. That would be really disheartening, I'm sure. I'm not sure if using the history panel would have helped. Sometimes it allows you to go back - but tough to say in this situation.
